George Mulhern

and Chairman of the Board
George brings leadership, twenty-five years of Business-to-Business technology expertise to CradlePoint. During his twenty-year career at Hewlett Packard, George had responsibility for hardware, software and services businesses that ranged in size from several million dollars to multi-billions of dollars of annual revenue. He successfully led businesses with sites located in the U.S., Europe and Asia and developed and implemented growth strategies both organically and through acquisition for the SMB and Enterprise markets. Mulhern’s last position with HP was as Senior Vice President, leading the LaserJet Global Business Unit. More recently, Mulhern was a general partner with Highway 12 Ventures, a Boise-based venture capital fund that served as a catalyst for entrepreneurs and startups to help drive economic growth in the Northwest region. George holds both a BS, and MBA, Business Administration from San Jose University.
Pat Sewall
CTO
As founder and Chief Executive Officer, Pat brings a wealth of experience to CradlePoint. After a 16-year tenure at HP where he was a leader in the R&D lab for LaserJet printers, Pat started RidgeRun, a software company that developed embedded Linux solutions for the cellular phone and consumer electronics markets. Prior to HP, he held management positions with Bently Nevada Corp., a privately held electronics manufacturer. Pat holds a BS in CS from the University of Iowa, and an MS in CS from the University of California, Davis.
Ryan Adamson
COO
Ryan has been a leader in the technology industry for over 20 years, including senior management positions at Kestrelink and Portsmith. Prior to that he was Director of Business Development and Professional Services at Rightnow Technologies, a Bozeman-based CRM software company, where he also served on the original board of directors and helped raise $31M in venture funding. Ryan holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Montana State.
Chris Bounds
CFO
Chris has over 25 years of broad general management and financial experience, serving as COO and CEO in high growth organizations and in earlier years serving as CFO of organizations with revenues in excess of $1B. From 1999 to 2008, he helped lead Boise technology start-up MarkMonitor, holding the roles of CFO, COO and ultimately CEO. Chris began his career with Touche Ross (now Deloitte Touche) and earned a BA from Rice University and MBA from Stanford University
Don Baumgartner
Vice President of Operations
Don comes to CradlePoint with more than 20 years of extensive experience in executing strategic marketing, business management and operational efficiency to grow companies to the highest level. Don has consistently lead companies from start-up positions in emerging markets to market leaders in global competitive markets while consistently increasing revenue growth. Don’s expertise expands across an organization providing experience in building the teams and operational structure needed for companies to scale effectively through rapid growth. Don served as Chief Operating Officer at Relkuse Motor Sports, and is the former Vice President of Worldwide Marketing at Extended Systems. Don holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from University of Idaho.
Ken Hosac
Vice President, Business Development
At CradlePoint, Ken has served in both Product Management and more recently Business Development, where his focus is on wireless carriers, network equipment manufacturers and system integrators. Ken has 23 years experience in marketing, sales, development and manufacturing. Prior to joining CradlePoint, Ken served as VP of Marketing for Casabyte (later acquired by JDS Uniphase), the leading provider of service validation solutions to wireless service providers. Ken also served as VP of Business Development for GoAhead Software (later acquired by Oracle), the leading provider of high availability software to communication infrastructure providers. Ken earlier spent 10 years at Hewlett Packard with cable modems & headends, set-top boxes and personal computers in a variety of engineering and engineering management roles. Ken holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and an M.S. degree in Manufacturing Engineering, both from Stanford University.

Gary Oliverio - Director
Gary brings more than twenty-five years of experience in high technology business including semiconductor, wireless, and embedded software. Prior to CradlePoint, Gary was the VP of Sales at Sandbridge Technologies from 2003 to 2004 and was the VP of Software Licensing at RidgeRun from 2001 to 2002. Prior to that, he was Director of Business Development at Cygnus Solutions/Red Hat from 1998 to 2001. In his early career, Gary held sales, sales management and business development positions in Motorola’s Semiconductor and Wireless Sectors. Gary graduated with an SBEE from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Gerry Langeler - Director
Gerry Langeler joined OVP Venture Partners in 1992 and focuses on investments in the communications, clean tech, software and digital biology sectors. His investments include Captivate Network, Carbonflow, Elekom, EnerG2, Foundstone, Max-Viz, Now Software, Portland Software, Preview Systems, Surplus Software, TView, Unify, Vascular Solutions, Viral Logic Systems Technology (VLST), and Webridge. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Collaborative Software Initiative, CradlePoint, EnerG2 and Max-Viz and is a Board Observer to DataSphere, Serus, Tigo Energy and Viral Logic Systems Technology (VLST).
Prior to joining OVP, Gerry was co-founder of Mentor Graphics Corporation (NASDAQ: MENT) in Portland, OR in 1981. There he served as President, and over eleven years helped lead Mentor through its IPO to over $400M in worldwide sales and over $1B in market capitalization. He began his technology career at Tektronix. Gerry received his AB in Chemistry from Cornell University and his MBA from Harvard University. He is the author of Take the Money and Run! An Insider’s Guide to Venture Capital as well as The Vision Trap (Harvard Business Review, 3/92). He is the father of two grown children, and enjoys skiing (when his knees can stand it) and golf.
Alan Hall - Director
A co-founder and managing director of Mercato Partners, Alan E. Hall brings deep understanding and expertise around channel sales, marketing strategy and sales execution to the Mercato Partners portfolio. Alan also currently serves on the board of directors of MediConnect Global and serves as board advisor to Control4 and Fusion-io.
Prior to founding Mercato Partners, Alan E. Hall was founder and CEO of MarketStar Corporation, an outsourced global marketing and sales organization which helps thirty of the world’s largest high technology companies generate billions of dollars in revenue from the small to medium business space. After selling MarketStar to Omnicom (NYSE:OMC) in 1998, Alan assisted Omnicom management in acquiring channel sales businesses nationwide. Alan is the founder of Grow Utah, a non profit organization which fosters entrepreneurial development and co-founder of Junto Partners, an education initiative to help mentor aspiring entrepreneurs. He is currently the chairman of the Utah Technology Council; a member of Wells Fargo’s community advisory board; and a founding board member of the World Trade Center Utah. Alan has been honored as the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year and the 2009 Mountainwest Capital Network Entrepreneur of the Year. Alan received a B.S. from Weber State University and an MBA from Brigham Young University's Marriot School of Management.
Jim Straight - Director
A 25 year telecommunications veteran, Jim Straight has held several senior executive roles with several telecommunications companies and also served in the White House Communications Agency under the Reagan, Bush, and Clinton administrations. Jim's expertise includes identifying market opportunities, wired and wireless product development, and working at the highest levels of government and multi-national corporations on complex issues spanning wireless communications and the Internet.
From 2005 to 2008, Jim served as senior vice president of Verizon Communications, responsible for product management and development activities for all consumer products, and previously served in senior management positions with Verizon Wireless. Since 2008 Jim has served as a consultant and director for various wireless product and services companies. Jim is a graduate of the University of Hawaii Pacific and holds a degrees in Electronic Technology form the United Institute of Technology and the US Army Electronics Training. Jim brings to our Board substantial market knowledge and in-depth insights into the worldwide wireless telecommunications and data markets.
